Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery

Aims & Scope

The Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery is a Gold Open Access journal dedicated to publishing research related to hip preservation surgery. Our scope covers various subject areas, including hip arthroscopic surgery, open hip preservation surgery, and laboratory and clinical research related to hip preservation surgery.

We encourage submissions that are research-question driven and welcome clinical studies with outcome measures and follow-up periods of adequate length. Our journal focuses on pre-arthroplasty approaches to hip preservation, but submissions related to arthroplasty directly related to joint preservation may also be considered.

Authors should observe high standards with respect to publication ethics, including avoiding falsification or fabrication of data, plagiarism, and misappropriation of work. We also require authors to indicate whether their research was conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the Helsinki Declaration (1964, amended most recently in 2008) of the World Medical Association.
