Aims & Scope

The Journal of Food and Bioprocess Engineering is a fee-free open access international journal that publishes peer-reviewed research papers and reviews in all branches of science, technology, biotechnology, and engineering of foods and food products.

The journal focuses on various aspects of food engineering, including bioprocess modelling and optimization, separation and bioseparation, fermentation, and bioreactor design. It also covers topics such as microbial physiology and engineering metabolic, production formulation, and sterile processing.

The journal follows a rigorous peer-review process, where all articles are initially assessed by the editor and then sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.
