Aims & Scope
The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B, Pesticides, Food Contaminants, and Agricultural Wastes provides an outlet for original research reports on analytical techniques or improvements on existing methods applicable to residues of pesticides, veterinary drugs, antibiotics, food contaminants (natural and additive), and other organic and emerging chemical contaminants, and their metabolites in the ecosphere.
The journal offers original factual reports on the chemistry, toxicology, persistence, binding, translocation, chemical and biodegradation, and metabolic fate of these chemicals; their effectual contamination of the biosphere; their environmental fate; methods of detoxification; and their toxicological considerations and consequences having a direct relation to human health.
The journal also encompasses the development of integrated methods of pest control and various aspects of agricultural wastes, including treatment and disposal.
The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B also publishes special issues and review articles summarizing and analyzing the state-of-the-art within the aims and scope of the journal.
Special issues consist of a group of peer-reviewed, invited research manuscripts in an area of current importance, or it may be a tribute issue commemorating the career of a distinguished researcher in the area of environmental science and health.
If you wish to suggest a special issue of the journal, please email the Editor-in-Chief a detailed proposal that includes the topic, a list of potential contributors, and a timeline.
