The Journal of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy started originally in 1954 as Annual Journal of the former Higher Institute of Chemical Technology.
It ran in Bulgarian.
In 2000 its name was changed to Journal of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy.
It was published quarterly in English.
Since 2013 it has run bimonthly as Journal of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy.
Journal of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy is a specialized scientific edition presenting original research results in the field of chemical technology and metallurgy, chemical engineering, biotechnology, industrial automation, environmental protection and natural sciences.
