Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology是由国防科学技术工业委员会主管，北京理工大学主办的科技类学术期刊，创办于1992年, 国内外公开发行，季刊，面向国内外征稿。 Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology是以基础理论、应用科学和工程技术为主的综合性学术刊物，主要反映国内外重要科研成果，促进学术交流，发展科学技术，推动教学和科研工作的开展，为加速现代化建设服务。本刊的服务对象主要是高等院校教师、科研机构的研究人员、工程技术人员和博士研究生。 Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology依托北京理工大学强大的科研实力和高水平的作者群，每年刊登论文100多篇。所发论文中具有各类基金（国家自然科学基金、“九七三”项目、“八六三”项目、国家部委预研等项目）占全部发文量的70%以上。 多年来，Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology（自然科学英文版）注重自身质量，不断改进工作，使刊物的学术水平、编辑质量、被引频次、影响因子逐年提高，刊物在国内外知名度不断提高。
