Aims & Scope
The Editors of Intervirology invite the submission of manuscripts on a wide range of topics in fundamental and medical virology.
The journal’s scope encompasses work on the molecular biology of human and animal viruses, including genome organization and regulation, and the structure and function of viral proteins.
The pathogenesis, immunology, diagnosis, epidemiology, prophylaxis and therapy of viral diseases are also considered.
The journal regularly publishes thematic issues often including timely review articles and field research reports on controversial topics.
It aims to be easily accessible to both specialists in the field and to those who want to keep track of the latest developments outside their own area of interest.
