Aims & Scope

The International Journal of Fluid Engineering (IJFE) aims to publish various types of fundamental and engineering application-oriented research relating to fluid mechanics.

The journal covers a wide range of topics, including:

Aeronautics and Aerospace: Aerodynamic layout of aero engines, multi-physics flow control, cryogenic flow, turbulent combustion, hot gas flow, and fluid excitation.

Marine Engineering: Hydraulic harvesting in deep sea mining, solid-liquid transportation, flow induced failure, environmental impact and control, pumping propulsion for underwater vehicles, cavitation flow, and flow induced vibration.

Process Industries: Multiphase flow in oilfield extraction, water injection, fluid transfer, mass transfer, heat transfer, and chemical reactions in refining, petrochemical, and coal chemical processes.

Cross-Discipline: Flow issues involved in major mechanical equipment and systems, such as shields, air separation equipment, compressors, process pumping units, and hydroelectric equipment, as well as gas-solid-liquid three-phase flow issues in coal-fired power plants, exhaust emission control processes, and preparation and pipeline transport characteristics of clean energy media.
