International Journal of Engine Research
Published by SAGE
ISSN : 1468-0874 eISSN : 2041-3149
Abbreviation : Int. J. Engine Res.
Aims & Scope
The International Journal of Engine Research publishes only the highest quality original and review papers on experimental and analytical studies of engine technology.
The journal is intended to serve as the premier source of long-term reference information about all aspects of engines and related technologies, including the latest research and developments affecting the automotive, railway, marine and aerospace industries as well as engines used for stationary power generation.
Original research papers are welcomed from all prospective authors.
All manuscripts are rigorously reviewed by experienced and respected referees.
Original research articles are expected to be thorough and complete, and to make a novel and significant contribution to the literature.
Review articles are usually invited by the Editorial Board, although unsolicited review articles may be considered at the discretion of the Reviews Editor.
Research topics of interest include: -In-cylinder flow- Mixture distribution- Ignition and combustion- Exhaust emissions- Combustion and emissions chemistry- Combustion engine performance- Fuel injection systems- Fuel spray technology- Fuels and lubricants- Conventional and alternative fuels- Piston-ring lubrication- Gas exchange processes- After-treatment technology- Electronic engine controls- 0D, 1D, 3D simulations of relevant thermophysical processes- Powertrain simulation- Optimatization of engines, powertrains and aftertreatment systems- Rocket engines- Gas turbine engines- e-motors- Engines and auxiliary power units for hybrid vehicles- Stationary power generation
