Aims & Scope
The International Journal of Athletic Therapy & Training (IJATT) is a bimonthly, blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes content related to clinical challenges facing athletic trainers and athletic therapists.
The terms athletic training, athletic therapy, as well as athletic trainer and athletic therapist, are interchangeable throughout the journal, except when referring to particular individuals or issues specific to the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) or the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA).
IJATT reports address many topics relevant to sports medicine, including clinical research on the recognition, management, and prevention of sports injuries and illnesses; emerging trends in complementary and integrative health; and professional issues in athletic training education and practice.
IJATT includes a continuing education assessment quiz that can be completed for 3.0 EBP BOC CEUs or 0.4 CEUs from the CATA.
