Aims & Scope
Infectious Medicine is an open access journal publishing papers on any aspect of infection and infectious disease, and focuses on diseases transmitted from animals to humans.
It publishes articles on emerging infectious diseases and animal-borne infectious diseases.
Submissions on infectious diseases with concern for the health of populations especially emerging infectious diseases are particularly welcomed.
The journal publishes topics including: •Clinical study on surveillance, diagnosis, observation and treatment of infection diseases •Epidemiology, prevention and control of infectious diseases and nosocomial infections •Pathogenesis, microbiology and immunology of infection •Research and development of vaccines against infectious diseases •Public health policies, biosecurity and epidemic prevention measures for infectious diseases Articles from any field of infectious diseases and pathogens, including viruses bacteria and parasites will be considered if the article is relevant to the understanding or manipulation of a disease state, diagnosis, and treatment, or understanding the pathogenesis of a disease or host-pathogen interaction.
