Aims & Scope

"Hormigón y Acero" is a scientific journal published by "Asociación Española de Ingeniería Estructural (ACHE) intended for researchers, engineers, architects, construction companies, engineering offices, architectural firms, universities, and research centers related to structural engineering and building construction at an international level.

The specific topics covered by papers published in this journal include structural analysis and engineering (reliability, stability, durability; maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation; construction aspects), experimental techniques applicable to structural analysis, testing and evaluation, wind engineering, fire engineering, construction techniques (prestressing systems, prefabrication), etc. "Hormigón y Acero" is the continuation of the journal published, with the same name, by the "Asociación Técnica Española del Pretensado (ATEP)".

And the latter, in turn, arises with that name in 1964 to become a journal publication, as a limited circulation bulletin called “Últimas Noticias de Hormigón Pretensado”, having been published since 1950 by the "Asociación Española del Hormigón Pretensado (AEHP)".
