Aims & Scope
Journal “Thoracic and cardiovascular surgery†is one of the oldest journals among current medical journals.
It was founded in 1959.
It highlights topical theoretical and organizational issues of thoracic surgery and related specialties.
We publish works devoted to the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases of the heart and blood vessels, lungs, mediastinal organs, interactive pathology, as well as works about organ transplantation.
Among the regular authors of the journal there are many well-known scientists, clinicians, healthcare organizers representing a variety of specialties – cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, angiologists, anesthesiologists, resuscitators, functional diagnostics doctors, polyclinic doctors, and rehabilitation doctors.
Lectures, reviews, original studies, short messages published in the journal reflect the entire thematic spectrum of the publication.
Moreover, articles on techniques, history of surgery, cardiovascular surgery made the journal in demand among a variety of specialists in federal districts.
