Aims & Scope

GCND | Journal of Clinical Nephrology and Dialysis is dedicated to advancing the scientific and clinical knowledge in nephrology, dialysis, and kidney transplantation.

The principal mission of the journal is to provide a high-impact platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research, fostering dialogue between researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals worldwide.

By bridging fundamental research, clinical practice, and technological innovation, the journal aims to improve patient care and outcomes in kidney disease management.

The journal covers a wide spectrum of nephrology-related topics, with a particular focus on dialysis therapies, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and kidney transplantation.

We are especially interested in original studies that explore emerging therapeutic strategies, novel dialysis technologies, and advances in immunosuppression.

Additionally, we aim to highlight interdisciplinary perspectives by integrating research from nephrologists, transplant specialists, bioengineers, and digital health experts.

A distinctive feature of the Journal of Clinical Nephrology and Dialysis is its commitment to inclusivity.

In addition to research from physicians and scientists, we actively encourage submissions from nurses, allied healthcare professionals, and patient associations involved in nephrology, dialysis, and transplantation.

Their perspectives are crucial in shaping a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to kidney care.

With its vision of supporting a multi-professional approach to nephrology, GCND has established itself as a point of exchange with important national associations of operators (SIAN) and patients (AIRP, AIAF, ANED) with whom there is a constructive collaboration.
