Aims & Scope
The aim of Frontiers in Engineering and Built Environment (FEBE) is to: disseminate original, scientific, theoretical or applied research in the field of Engineering and Built Environment.
FEBE is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed international research journal published biannually online by King Khalid University.
The journal considers the following types of original contributions for peer review and publication: original articles, and critical reviews, in the interdisciplinary area of engineering and built environment.
It links several scientific and engineering disciplines including: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, geoinformatics, environment, and Architecture and planning to ensure representation in all fields.
Frontiers in Engineering and Built Environment operates a double-anonymous peer review model.
All articles undergo an initial assessment by the journal editor.
If they are considered suitable for peer review, articles will then be reviewed by a minimum of two external reviewers to assess their suitability for publication.
Final responsibility for editorial decisions rests with the journal editor.
All articles published in Frontiers in Engineering and Built Environment are published Open Access under a CC BY 4.0 licence.
