Aims & Scope

Franklin Open is a new open-access, fast turn-around, peer reviewed journal from the publishers of the Journal of The Franklin Institute that focuses on the fields of engineering and applied mathematics.

Focus is on producing high-quality research from all voices in the scientific and academic communities to promote advancements in engineering and applied mathematics.

Franklin Open aims to publish high quality manuscripts under such topics as: -Complex Networks & Dynamic Systems- Control Engineering, Robotics, & General Dynamic Systems- Energy & Power Systems- Information & Communications- Data Science & Artificial Intelligence- Neural Networks & Learning Systems- Speech, Image, & Signal Processing- Epidemiology & Evolutionary Systems.

Original manuscripts and special topic issue are welcome as well as multidisciplinary topics or application-oriented articles, reviews, surveys, and educational articles.

Submissions will be evaluated based on their methodological soundness and relevance to the discipline.

Upon acceptance for publication, a publication fee of USD 1900 is charged to cover all editorial, production, and archiving costs.
