Folia Oecologica
Published by Institute of Forest Ecology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Journal Finder)
ISSN : 1336-5266
Abbreviation : Folia Oecologica
Aims & Scope
Folia Oecologica, an international scientific journal, publishes peer-reviewed, original research on forest ecology science.
While the emphasis is on forest ecosystems, the journal covers a wide range of topics from the underlying biology to the conservation aspects of forest and nature. The Journal publishes full-text papers, short communications and review articles.
We encourage submission of papers that will be of strong interest and value to the Journal’s international readership, and they should offer a distinct, novel contribution.
Research papers should clearly outline an existing knowledge gap and articulate how the findings address this deficit, including the practical implications for all ecosystems where trees, shrubs and herbs found in forest can grow.
