《粉末冶金材料科学与工程》杂志创刊于1996年，是由教育部主管，中南大学主办，粉末冶金国家重点实验室和粉末冶金国家工程研究中心承办的学术类期刊，由中国工程院院士黄伯云院士担任主编。本刊主要报道国内外粉体、粉末冶金及无机材料等领域具有创造性、探索性的学术论文及新技术、新材料、新产品、新工艺、新设备、检测技术及测试仪器等的研究发展动向。主要刊登粉体、粉末冶金以及材料学科的基础理论及最新科技成果，反映我国粉末冶金及材料科学的新成就和新进展。主要栏目有理论研究与工艺技术。读者对象包括粉末冶金、金属材料、金属基和陶瓷基复合材料、机械及冶金等学科和领域的高等院校教师、在校本科生和研究生、研究院所的科研人员以及企业的技术和管理人员。
