Aims & Scope
The European Journal of Psychotherapy & Counselling is a peer-reviewed publication which aims to stimulate and inform debate and provide linkages throughout Europe regarding developments in psychotherapy and counselling.
The European Journal of Psychotherapy and Counselling covers the psychological therapies with particular, but not exclusive, reference to developments in psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, counselling and counselling psychology.
Papers are reviewed by a minimum of two independent anonymous reviewers.
The Journal raises important questions in terms of European practice, theory and research for psychotherapy and counselling practitioners, related professions, students and academics.
The Journal focuses on the following areas: -The contributions from and debates between different European theoretical approaches to psychotherapy and counselling and their respective traditions of practice and research. -Individual and group psychotherapy and counselling in public, private and voluntary settings -The interaction between the psychological and the physical and the status of these categories -The nature of psychotherapeutic knowledge and its implications for practice, theory and research -The contributions to psychotherapy and counselling from developments in European academic disciplines
