《电力建设》（月刊）创刊于1958年，由国网北京经济技术研究院、中国电力工程顾问集团有限公司、中国电力科学研究院主办。本刊立足于我国的电力建设，包括国家宏观政策、规范以及投资方向，规划设计，工程管理，科研技术，产品优化等。是我国电力建设领域的权威性期刊，在全国电力行业颇具影响。目前，本刊已发展成为电力系统的重要科技期刊，被评为全国优秀科技期刊，电力部优秀科技期刊，全国中文核心期刊，美国《剑桥科学文摘》收录期刊，波兰《哥白尼索引》收录期刊，并入编新闻出版署中国期刊方阵，中国学术期刊光盘版。办刊方针是：“传承科技，服务电建”和“四个面向”（科研、生产、管理、基层）。目前分为编辑、广告、发行等部门。期刊专业领域：电源工程建设，电网工程建设，电源电网运行，技改和检修，电力设备制造，电力系统自动化，工程管理。 主要栏目：专家论坛、理论研究、电源技术、电网技术、设备与材料、信息服务、专栏。
