Aims & Scope
Continence is the open access journal for the International Continence Society (ICS), which is complemented by Continence Reports.
The new Continence journal is dedicated to the publication of high quality, innovative pure and clinical research that will benefit patients with urinary, bowel and pelvic floor disorders by advancing science, in keeping with the mission of the ICS, whose broad membership covers multiple disciplines including physicians, surgeons, nurses, physicists, physiotherapists, bio-engineers and scientists.
Continence covers all types of primary research involving clinical, and translational research.
Continence articles will include original articles, review articles, standardization reports, white papers as well as consensus statements.
All articles are peer reviewed by a panel of dedicated experts in their field and proof-read by copy editors.
Continence reflects the evolving publishing model so all published papers will have unrestricted access and be published online-only.
