ISSN : 2152-2057 eISSN : 2152-2073
Abbreviation : Compos. Mech. Comput. Appl.
Aims & Scope
Composites: Mechanics, Computations, Applications, An International Journal seeks to provide a central vehicle for exchange of basic ideas in the mechanics of composite materials and structures between the research workers and engineers located throughout the world.
Only those papers that convey original unpublished research of permanent interest will be accepted for publication.
In all cases, the highest priority will be given to those contributions which increase our basic understanding of the mechanics of composite materials and structures and of its application to computational and engineering problems.
The subjects covered in this journal include, but are not limited to: the mechanics of structured, homogeneous, and heterogeneous media with complex rheological properties and phase transitions; thermodynamics, physicochemical mechanics and micromechanics of composite materials; the properties of fibers, matrices, and of an interphase layer; methods of averaging; numerical methods in the mechanics of heterogeneous media and composites; computer simulation of the behavior of composites; diagnostics and accumulation of faults; strength, rigidity, durability, and mechanics of disintegration of composites; composite plates and shells; methods for calculation of composite structures; static and dynamic problems; interaction with the environment; intellectual (active, adaptive) materials and structures; natural composites and bio-composites; technological mechanics of composites; methods of experimental study of composites and composite structures.
