The aim of the journal is to ensure that upâ€toâ€date and relevant information reaches eye care workers of all levels in the countries where the burden of eye disease and blindness is greatest.
Journal readers often have little access to other sources of information.
Our peer-reviewed articles are written by experts in the field and combine clinical topics with public health approaches such as research, planning, management, technology, advocacy and training.
