Aims & Scope

Chinese Journal of Luminescence (CJL) seeks to promote research from all aspects of luminescence and optoelectronics, including basic, applied and engineering research and applications.

This journal will primarily publish new research results in cutting-edge and emerging topics in optics and photonics, as well as covering traditional topics in optical engineering.

The journal will publish original articles and reviews that are of high quality, high interest and far-reaching consequence.

Topics of particular interest within the journal's scope include, but are not limited to, those listed below: Photoluminescence, electroluminescence and cathodoluminescence of inorganic, organic and biological materials and their applications; Properties and applications of wide band gap semiconductor materials, quantum well materials, photonic crystal materials, and other new photoelectric materials; Research and application of nanotechnology and nanomaterials; Synthesis, properties and application of rare earth organic and inorganic materials; Solar cell and green lighting project; Blackbody radiation, detection of high-energy particles and rays, radiation protection; Spectral analysis of the interaction between light and matter; Laser material, compact short wavelength laser; Multiphoton process, luminescent center, defect, excited state dynamics, optical storage materials and devices; Integrated optics, laser spectroscopy, cavity quantum electrodynamics and nonlinear optics; Photometry and chroma; Other relevant cross cutting areas.
