Aims & Scope
Chinese Journal of Dermatology (CJD), established in October 1953, is sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association, edited and published by the Institute of Dermatology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS).
It aims to provide a platform for academic communication among national clinicians and researchers in various aspects of dermatology and venereology.
The contents involve epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of dermatoses and sexually transmitted diseases, and topics include genetics, carcinogenesis, microbiology, immunology, molecular biology, histopathology, pharmacology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, physical therapy, surgery, and so on.
Original research articles, editorials, guidelines and consensus, review articles, case reports, letters are standard features.
Commentaries and perspectives are regularly invited.
Academic arguments are welcome at all time.
CJD has remained a core periodical in dermatology and venereology, as well as in natural science and biomedicine in China.
According to the report from Chinese Science and Technology Paper Citation Database (CSTPCD) in 2017, the total citations, impact factor and comprehensive evaluation score of the journal were 1815, 0.950, and 75.5, respectively.
The readers of CJD consist of senior and junior clinicians, researchers and educators in dermatology and venereology as well as other related fields.
From CJD, readers can learn the latest guidelines or expert consensus on diagnosis and treatment of dermatoses and STDs in China, commentaries on focal issues in this field, advances in clinical practices and basic researches in dermatology and venereology, as well as first reports of rare dermatoses in China, etc.
