Aims & Scope
The Brazilian Journal in Health Promotion (Revista Brasileira em Promoção da Saúde – RBPS), formerly the Health Sciences Center Journal (Revista do Centro de Ciências da Saúde – RECCS), was established in 1984 and is devoted to Health Promotion, including public policies, healthy environments, community capacity building, individual and collective skills development, and reorientation of health services.
It aims to foster Health/Public Health Promotion by publishing scientific evidence arising from research and actions relevant and correlated to this area.
It publishes quantitative and qualitative studies, descriptive and analytical research, clinical trials, and epidemiological and environmental studies whose ultimate objective is the dissemination of scientific knowledge on Health Promotion and Public/Collective Health.
RBPS publishes editorials, original articles, review articles and description or evaluation of experience.
