The Belgian Journal of Botany is the official journal of the Royal Botanical Society of Belgium.

It was first published in 1862 (at that time as the Bulletins de la Société Royale de Botanique de Belgique).

From 1990 on, it has been published under its present name.

It appears in one volume of two issues per year.
