Aims & Scope

BAREKENG : Jurnal Ilmu Matematika dan Terapan (BAREKENG : Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications), is a scientific publication media, that publishes articles on the result of research or studies in the field of Pure & Applied Mathematics, Pure & Applied Statistics, Actuarial Science, and Mathematics Computation.

BAREKENG : Jurnal Ilmu Matematika dan Terapan (BAREKENG : Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications), is published by Pattimura University in Collaboration with the Indonesian Mathematical Society (IndoMS).

The word "BAREKENG" is one of the words from the Native Moluccan language which means "Counting" or "Calculating".

Counting is one of the main and fundamental activities in the field of Mathematics.

Therefore, we try to promote the word "Barekeng" as the name of our scientific journal while also promoting the culture of the Maluku region.
