Aims & Scope

Archives of Craniofacial Surgery (Arch Craniofac Surg, ACFS: pISSN 2287-1152 · eISSN 2287-5603) is the official journal of Korean Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

Also, ACFS is the official journal of Asian Pacific Craniofacial Association (APCA).

ACFS is a peer reviewed, open access journal that publishes articles in any aspect of craniofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery, operative procedures, clinical and laboratory research, case reports, and literature review.

Special topics as well as ideas, innovations, correspondence are invited for publications.

ACFS journal will be published six times per year (February 20th, April 20th, June 20th, August 20th, October 20th, and December 20th).

Editorial committee makes decisions concerning editing, revision, acceptance or rejection of any manuscripts.

Editing may include shortening an article, reducing the number of illustrations or tables or changing the paper’s format.

In craniofacial and some other subspecialties of plastic surgery, surgical concepts and technical approaches are different for those of different racial and ethnic backgrounds, and thus ACFS aims to be the leading forum for communications of techniques related to Asia-Pacific patients’ needs.

ACFS also embraces its identity as the leading craniofacial plastic surgery journal in Asia-Pacific, aiming to be the main forum for communication among the craniofacial plastic surgery scholars and clinicians of the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, and the main voice presenting this group’s technical innovations to an international audience.

ACFS offers online manuscript submission for rapid peer-review and communication with authors.
