Published by Springer Nature
ISSN : 0947-8396 eISSN : 1432-0630
Abbreviation : Appl. Phys. Mater. Sci. Process.
Aims & Scope
Applied Physics was founded in 1973 by H.K.V.
Lotsch and is one of the leading international, peer-reviewed journals in the area of experimental and theoretical investigations in applied research.
It is issued in two parts: Applied Physics A: Materials Science & Processing, and Applied Physics B: Lasers and Optics.
Both parts appear monthly in issues of varying size.
In addition, one extra issue is published quarterly to allow for topical issues.
Four issues constitute one volume, and four volumes are published per year.
Applied Physics A publishes regular articles, rapid communications, and invited papers about new results, focusing on the condensed phase including nanostructured materials and their applications.
