Aims and Scope

The primary aim of the Journal of Applied Geophysics Research is to introduce the latest research findings, original, and innovative works in the field of applied geophysics and related sciences in Iran and worldwide. This journal aims to promote the development of applied geophysics and related sciences in the country by publishing scientific and research articles.

The scope of this journal includes various branches of applied geophysics, such as seismic exploration, gravity surveying, magnetometry, electrical resistivity tomography, and other related branches. The journal also covers various engineering, environmental, and geological studies related to applied geophysics, including oil and gas exploration, mining, water resources, and geothermal resources.

The journal welcomes research papers on various topics related to applied geophysics, including but not limited to, geophysical exploration, geophysical methods, geophysical data analysis, and geophysical applications in various fields. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the journal's editorial board and experts in the field to ensure the quality and relevance of the research.
