Aims & Scope
The journal publishes papers in the fields of theoretical and applied econometrics and statistics.
Applied Econometrics publishes papers (in Russian or in English) on the econometric analysis of socio-economic and financial processes and systems, the problems of education, tutorial materials on econometric methods and their practical applications.
In particular, the articles focus on theoretical, methodological and practical issues in the areas of: optimal management decisions at the level of companies, banks, federal and regional authorities; optimal solutions for financial markets; the efficient application of econometric methods in marketing, analysis and forecasting of consumer demand; the use of modern software packages for Econometrics and Applied Statistics; the contents and the teaching methodologies for econometrics and applied statistics in universities.
The journal is directed towards researchers, professors, PhD students and students who are interested in methods and applications of econometrics and applied statistics, as well as specialists in quantitative departments of banks and companies, sociologists, political scientists, marketing analysts, managers, etc.
