Aims & Scope

Angewandte Chemie, a journal of the German Chemical Society, with its excellent Impact Factor of 12.257 (2018) is maintaining its leading position among the general chemistry journals.

It appears weekly in a highly optimized, reader-friendly format; new articles appear online almost every day.

Founded in 1887, it is today one of the prime chemistry journals in the world (see timeline), with an Impact Factor higher than those of comparable journals.
