Aims & Scope

The AGIT Journal for Applied Geoinformatics (“AGIT Journal” for short) is an interdisciplinary open access journal that focuses on the presentation and discussion of high-quality scientific research results and applied practical contributions from the range of topics in geoinformatics.

All submitted contributions are subject to a double-blind peer review process according to international standards.

The Editorial Board consists of well-known representatives from the field of geoinformatics (from Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

The authors come from the field of geoinformatics and related disciplines.

These are scientists or practitioners at universities, colleges, research institutes, authorities or from the GIS industry.
