Acta Technica (formerly Acta Technica CSAV) is a refereed international journal founded in 1956.

It is devoted to presenting progress in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, thermodynamics, hydromechanics, materials science and engineering, mechanics of solids and structures, plasma physics, and others, together with corresponding mathematical and computer tools.

Unlike a lot of other journals in the domain it also covers interdisciplinary, coupled and newly emerging problems (e.g. nanotechnology, bioelectromagnetics, etc.).
