Aims & Scope

ACTA HYDROLOGICA SLOVACA publishes original research papers from the field of hydrology of surface and subsurface water in natural catchments and urbanized areas.

The Journal is published two times per year by the Institute of Hydrology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovakia.

Basic topics are: • hydrological and water management balance, • interaction of surface and groundwater, atmosphere and hydrosphere, • hydrological extremes (floods, droughts) • comprehensive monitoring in river basins and urbanized areas, • impacts of anthropogenic activity and climate change on hydrological processes, • transport processes in the catchment area, • legislation and river basin management.
