Aims & Scope
Founded in 1953, Acta Anatomica Sinica, which sponsored by Chinese Society of Anatomical Science, is one of the foremost comprehensive journals in the category of anatomy science in china.
Acta Anatomica Sinica has already won many awards, including the second prize of Chinese Leading Academic Journal Award in 1997, the second and the third prize of Chinese Science Association Leading Academic Journal Award in 1992 and 1997, and three times of Fund Subsidization Award of Basic and High Science and Technology Academic Journals by Chinese Science Association.
In the Overview of the Main List of Chinese Core Journals (2000), which was selected by Beijing University Library and other authoritative organizations, this journal is ranked the first in basic medical science.
This journal focuses on the late original issues in cytology, molecular and cell biology, histology and embryology, neural biology, macroscopic anatomy, comparative anatomy and anthropology.
In addition, this journal also reflects the current advances in human genome project, DNA chips, cellular signal transduction, apoptosis, stem cells and disease-related genes, especially oncogenes and antiongenes, central nervous transplantation and regeneration, basic research of brain-aging, and so on.
The contents of this journal include original articles, reviews, new technologies and methods, academician’s commentaries, brief reports, publishing news and book reviews.
