The mission of Space: Science & Technology is to promote the exploration and research of space worldwide, to lead the rapid integration and technological breakthroughs of interdisciplinary sciences in the space field, and to build a high-level academic platform for discussion, cooperation, technological progress and information dissemination among professional researchers, engineers, scientists and scholars.
Its goal is to publish high-quality, high-influence Research Articles, Review Articles, Editorials and Perspectives from the world's top universities and research institutions on the intersections, frontiers and hot topics in the space field.
The journal‘s scope includes space science, space technology, and space infrastructure and services as three major domains. • Space Science: astrophysics; planetary sciences and deep space exploration; earth sciences; fundamental physics; space medicine; life sciences; materials and fluids • Space Technology: spacecraft system design; guidance, navigation and control; power and propulsion in space; advanced materials for space applications; robotics and AI; in-space manufacturing; environmental control and life support systems; in-situ resource utilization; disruptive technologies • Space Infrastructure and Service: data systems; space weather and space hazards awareness; launch, communication and navigation infrastructures; extraterrestrial samples collection and curation facilities; future Moon and Mars stations; research platforms and gateways; space law and policy
