Articles are written mainly in French, but may also be published in Spanish or English.
The journal is listed in the following databases: the European database ERIH, the French database of HCERES, MathEducDataBase, Googlescholar, which values for authors the publication of an article in the Annales.
The articles are freely available on the Annales de didactique et de sciences cognitives website as well as on the OpenEdition Journals website as soon as they are published, without embargo.
The journal is open to all types of research and articles may be: theoretical in nature and closely related to experimentation in the context of teaching; report of teaching experience based on an explicit theoretical framework; syntheses of research conducted in a particular field of mathematics education; book review of scientific works in the field.
